Darling pumps have been manufactured since 1888, over a century of experience. The Darling brothers, Arthur and George, founded the company. They established their engineering business at the corner of Queen and Ottawa Street, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They could scarcely have foreseen the subsequent growth of the industry and with it, their  own business.  Darling Brother pumps are found today in all classes of industry throughout North America. Their reliable and modern designs continue to add to its reputation of a superior quality and reliable pump.In the early 1970's the company Darling Brothers Ltd. was sold to Duro which then became know as Darling Duro Ltd.  This name was in business until 1993 when the Duro corporation sold to S.A Armstrong Inc. 5 years later.  Darling pump company was purchase by Dynapompe Inc., a young and Dynamic pump company situated in Montreal.
